The World of Mong-Lan

at the Dallas Museum of Art

January 30 - August 28, 2005

Photography and Paintings

During February 2005, I was invited by the Dallas Museum of Art as the inaugural Visual Artist and Poet in Residence, co-sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts.

During this exhilarating month, I gave poetry readings, gave gallery talks, conducted workshops on art (drawing and painting) and writing / poetry at the Dallas Museum of Art, at the Dallas Public Library, as well as at Dallas area magnet middle school and high school for talented artistic youths.

A show of my paintings and photographs, "The World of Mong Lan," was on display for six months at the Museum.
