Ceramics by Mong-Lan
During my time in Japan these past few years, I have been studying ceramics with a Japanese ceramics sensei, Inoue Seishin. His studio is up in the mountains in Takao in Hachioji. Surrounded by nature, temples, running brooks, I feel more in tune with the earth, with the clay, with working with my hands, with the slowness of time itself.
Below are just a few of the objects and ceramics that I created in 2005. Enjoy! |
